Just looking at the default setting, and anti-aliasing seems to be way ahead.

Maybe my eyes are bad, but without anti-aliasing makes the colors look alot more vivid to be honest. Anyone else see that too?

With AA just looks more attractive. Without has slightly more readability but I can boost brightness to increase visibility.

Anti-aliasing looks particularly nice on fonts that are designed for subpixel smoothing, like Consolas. I think that with Courier New (my typical MUD font), I’d prefer no AA
